The Quality Assurance Policy of the Department of Music Studies is fully aligned with the Quality Assurance Policy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, making the Department of Music Studies fully committed and dedicated to providing high-quality Greek and foreign language higher education to students who choose it, by organizing and implementing Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs of high academic standards and significant added value, both in Greek and English, in the most important fields and areas of the science of the Department of Music Studies. Additionally, the Department seeks to develop a creative environment for research, free scientific expression, and work for all its personnel and members of its academic community.
The Department of Music Studies is committed to implementing this quality policy, including in the Postgraduate Program "Music Education in Formal and Informal Environments," which it offers and will offer in the future, implementing the quality procedures provided by the Institution's Internal Quality Assurance System, with the ultimate goal of its continuous improvement. Through this Quality Policy, the academic identity and orientation of the postgraduate program are strengthened, its purpose and subject matter are promoted, while specific objectives are set annually and the means and ways of achieving the above are determined. The participation of stakeholders in the evaluation and redesign processes is ensured.
